Based on my opinion i think the "president of the untied states" was wrong for this situation because everybody in our society has the power of freedom of press well from what i know according to the first amendment. Trump claimed the CNN news reporter was being rude through the process but all he was doing was his job in fact the one that was being rude was the president because he kept cutting him off he also had this reporter kicked out of the press conference .

I think it's wrong what Trump is doing to the reporter who was exercising his first Amendment. We see how they are saying trump has the right to kick out anyone he wants. For example "If the president wants to exclude all reporters from the White House grounds, he has the authority to do that." In other words, he can kick someone out of the White House if he wants to even if it's at the expense of denying someone of their first Amendment. I feel that CNN is in the right to to sue Trump.

I believe trump had no right to kick out the reporter as he was only exercising his rights "the first amendment", freedom to press. And Trump even though he is the president of the United States he can not by any means take away the reporters right, as he was only doing his job and was putting nobody at risk. In my opinion trump did not like the questions the reporter was asking him and because of that he tried to suppress the reporter from speaking. I believe that the president should not be able to control the news or media because everything would be biased and would only be from the point of view the president wants us to see.

When the lawyer states "If the president wants to exclude all reporters from the White House grounds, he has the authority to do that", I feel like its wrong because he's taking away the 1st amendment for those people which gives them the right to freedom of speech or of the press. By excluding all the reporters the president does not want in the White House and putting in people who's on his side gives him the power to twist and manipulate the news so the country can be in his favor.

In my opinion President Donald Trump was in the wrong about Jim Acosta because people in America has Freedom of Press. Jim Acosta said excuse me miss while she trying to grab the microphone so i felt like that was rude of her to try to snatch something out of his hand to me i don't feel like he was being rude.

My thoughts on the newest report on trump is he is trying to do everything in his power to make himself look good and make everyone else look bad. for example in the news report this guy was speaking up on trump making him look bad so trump got him out the room now this reporter can't interview trump anymore, this is saying trump only want will let people who speaks highly of him interview in that way everyone else in the world win think he's a good guy.

My whole opinion Is that Donald Trump is afraid of the media outlets since the amendment allows them to report freely and he is trying to cut them off since he does not want that type of information out there in the public and anyone who disagrees with him gets kicked out the white because they ask those questions.

In my opinion the president of the united states was wrong from deciding to talk over the reporter and kicking him just because the reporter was not agreeing with the president. For example, the article states " If the president wants to exclude all reporters from to White House grounds, he has the authority to do that." This quote is basically saying the president has the power to kick any one out with out a doubt and the reporter was kicked because he was just doing his job and it is his right as an American citizen to exercise the 1st amendment. So in my opinion the president was acting childish and immature.

Being the president doesn't mean you rule a country, the president respects every citizens right. The reporter was exercising his first amendment, trump didn't need to kick him out. " If the president wants to exclude all reporters from the white house grounds, he has the authority to do that...". What this quote means is that trump "has" the power to kick out reporters that has the first amendment on their side, makes it unfair. The reporters and the nation needs to know what trump is doing.

I feel like this goes against what our 1st amendment aims to protect:our freedom of press. The pres. shouldn't be able to bar someone of their hardpass because of something as small and trivial as someone 'disrupting' the press conference with their questions.I don't know if Trump demanded his intern to try to take the mic away from the reporter, but even if he didn't someone has instructed or trained her to take the mic away from a 'disruptive' reporter. When the reporter refused to give her the mic he respectfully said,"Pardon me ma'am.",she still tried to take the mic away from him.Trump's administration had doctored the footage trying to make it seem that the reporter had assaulted the woman making it appear that he was moving faster than he actually was,and making it to where you can't even hear the reporter say pardon me.

trump claimed that the reporter is rude which is because of the question the reporter was asking he is against the reporter because he felt the questions were against him.As it is in the article the administration lawyers in the court said the president could bar all reporters from the white house complex for any reasons he sees fit, which means that trump is trying to have control over the press and say they can"t disclose things about the white house without trump's approval. The deputy assistant also said "if the president wants to exclude all reporters from the white house he has the authority to do that" and the lawyers are trying to support it.

Our first amendment protects our right of speech, freedom, religion, assembly and press. After the meeting with Trump and Jim Acosta during the interview as he shut down Acosta's questions. Trump being the manipulative person he is twists his words to a whole other meaning leaving a trail of lies. In my opinion, the strategies he is using to get rid of CNN and he is doing this in his own way and in my opinion Trump is the one wrong because he decided to shut down a question which the reporter had asked. For Trump to not like the question and ignore Acosta's question is that he is disregarding Acosta's first amendement.

On November 14, 2018 Politico news dropped a controversial news of Donald Trump and CNN. Donald went at it with Jim Acosta deeming him as "a rude, teribble person." This has happened because while at a press conference Jim Acosta asked Why call immigrants invaders on your campaign? and other questions challenging the President. The white house then sued Jim Acosta for a broad discretion. As seen in the video from the white house it looks like Jim Acosta has insulted the intern by hitting her but in the orginal video Jim moves his hand as she is grabbing for the microphone. He says "Pardon me", asking her nicely to basically leave him alone. Donald trump then seeks another dilemma by saying to Jim Acosta at the press conference "When you report fake news you are the enemy of the people." pointing directly at Jim Acosta.

In my opinion, what Donald Trump did was wrong because he was taking the reports first amendment right of freedom of press away by kicking him out of the room and cutting him off every time he tried to ask a question. In the article "Trump seeks to land blow against media in court fight with CNN" it states "'If the president wants to exclude all reporters from the White House grounds, he has the authority to do that,'" This shows that he has unfair power because he won't let them exercise their freedom of press. Another way that it shows this is also where it states "Even before he took office, the president referred to Acosta as 'fake news' at a press conference and refused to take questions from him." This shows that he is not allowing him to ask him questions which is his job and he won't answer them making it a violation of the reporters first amendment right of freedom of speech.

What President Trump is doing is taking away the first amendment of the press. When the news reporters were asking questions to trump on of the reporters known as Jim Acosta asked President Trump some important questions that trump did not want to answer as Jim tried to get a response out of trump he asked someone to take the microphone away from of which he supposedly assaulted at the they took Jim's credentials so that he can never come and report in the white house. The media has been talking about saying that trumps actions were wrong but U.S District Court for the district court of Colombia say "there's no first amendment" another man called James Burnham says"If the President wants to exclude all reporters from the white house grounds, he has the authority to do that".

What Trump is doing is taking away Jim Acosta's first amendment right. When Acosta was asking Trump questions that were important and trying to get an answer out of Trump, Trump told someone to take away the microphone from Acosta from which Acosta allegedly assaulted the woman trying to take Acosta's microphone. After this, Trump's administration took away Acosta's pass, which means he cannot return to the white house. James Burnham stated that "If the president wants to exclude all reporters from the white house grounds, he has the authority." and "There is no First Amendment right". this is saying the Trump can kick out all reporters from the white house if he wanted to and saying that there is first amendment.

I feel that it was wrong for Trump to do that if he was just asking question the he could of simply answer easily. At this point he didnt need to take his ID for the press. Since it part of the first amendment that he can ask question. Then he try say another reason why they took it away.So in my opinion was that it wrong what trump did over simple question.

In my opinion there is always a wide gap between what the president promises and what they accomplish. As this gap becomes wider, they respond by concealing or lying about it through control or closure of the media. Everything that disagrees with Trump he removes it until sooner or later it gets to a point where all news is one sided because reporters are trying to keep their job and that’s Donald Trump side of the story will always be told.

Trump's decision to revoke Acosta's media pass is unconstitutional and unjust. The incident happened between President Trump and Acosta, who works for CNN, during a press conference where Acosta repeatedly asked Trump questions. The article by the news out let "POLITICO" stated that the Deputy Assistant Attorney General James Burnham said that "There's no First Amendment right." This is in response to Acosta getting his media pass revoked by Trump. Trump and his administration violated Acosta's first amendment right, a law which Trump was sworn to protect! The first amendment right states that we, the people, have to the freedom of press. And to have someone be denied that is unjust and have it stripped of him is unconstitutional.

Trump tries accusing a reporter of reporting fake news since he was asking an important and relevant question to him. The reporter, Acosta, got his freedom of press right revoked from the president and to top it off he got accused of assault toward a female that tried taking away his microphone forcefully. The article states," But he said Acosta's behavior at the press conference still justified his expulsion, saying his repeated attempt to question the president after Trump tried to move on were "disruptive." This shows that Trump doesn't want to give up on the whole incident, that just takes away attention from the questions he didn't answer. After he told Acosta to sit down and stop asking questions he got a question as important as the one before by another reporter and again told that reporter to stop asking questions. It's as if he had no words, he didn't know how to answer those questions because there was probably no correct answer for them that he could've came up with. He most likely didn't know how to manipulate the question or answer since he didn't want to answer any. Many other known news companies tried backing up Acosta because this whole situations was not fair, soon it looks like Trump will start playing the victim and get his way exactly like he's been doing from the beginning.

The president Trump is denying access to a reporter for going to the White House. Deputy assistant attorney General James Burnham said "If the president wants to exclude all the reporters from the white house grounds, he has the authority to do that Trump can remove any reporter pass with any reason he sees fit. This was the first time any reporter's hard pass was taken away. Acosta's pass was taken form him instantly and whit out getting any notification of this. CNN says " Acosta, who was present for the hearing, was not afforded Due Process because he was not told his pass would be revoked beforehand..."

What Trump is doing in this event is taking Jim Acosta's first amendment. The reason why Trump did this is because he felt like Acosta was constantly being rude towards him and repeatedly asked Trump questions. For example "saying his repeated attempts to question the president after Trump tried to move on were "disruptive"". This shows Trumps perspective of him getting disruptive when really all Acosta was doing is legally and freely using his first amendment to ask Trump questions.

Even though, Trump is the president of the United States he cannot, however, take away the reporters right, as he was only doing his job and was putting nobody at risk. In my opinion, Trump basically disagreed with the question the speaker was asking and so he tried to quiet him from talking again. I believe that Donald Trump is afraid of the truth and does not believe that he is a bad person. Trump wants for the news to be censored up to the point that he only wants good things said about him on the news. He's threatening the jobs of news reporters and is taking advantage of the amount of power that he has on all aspects of the country. Hes restricting the rights of the people. his actions are a demonstration to show that what is said to be a right according to the constitution, is said otherwise according to donald trump. He's beginning to do what he feels to be right in his mind. In other words, he's making the country change to make him feel more comfortable and doesnt care for who he hurts or what he does to others. He's using his power to benefit himself only instead of benefiting the nation as a whole

My opinion on what Trump did was wrong, everyone has a right to freedom of press because that is our fist amendment. You shouldn't be able to take that away from somebody because you have the power of doing it and is getting offended by the questions you are being asked. CNN sues Trump for taking Jim Acosta first amendment. Other new organizations say they support the lawsuit. Trump put Timothy Kelly as the judge, which made Jim Acosta have his 1st amendment right taken for about 2 weeks. Trump says that Jim Acosta can not report on him anymore, he says Jim tells "fake news" because he doesn't agree with what he shares on CNN. Overall, I feel like Trump I trying to put out everyone that he doesn't agree with so when news is told from the white house it will be only what Trump wants it to be.

Jim Acosta, a reporter for CNN news, was asking President Donald Trump why he was calling the caravan immigrants as 'invaders'. Trump and Acosta were going back and forth about this topic until Trump dismissed him. Acosta kept trying to keep asking Trump questions about the caravan but Trump started talking bad about him and the network he works with. according to the site 'Politico' it stated that , ''The White House said last Wednesday it was pulling Acosta’s access after he repeatedly tried to ask Trump questions at a press conference, even after the president dismissed him, and briefly refused to let a White House aide pull a microphone out of his hand.'' President Trump took away Acosta's access to the white house from reporting because he supposedly assaulted the woman trying to take his microphone. But as videos started to be released, it was clear that the footage released by the white house was altered to seem like Acosta karate chopped the woman. Now a lot of news networks are siding with CNN because what they don't want Trump to start manipulating the news to seem favorable to him.

I believe Donald Trump as president of the United States was wrong for kicking the CNN reporter out just for trying to ask him questions. As reporters in the White House they should have the right to ask anything they want because everyone's given that first amendment privilege and since it is an amendment there's nothing that should be done to that person because after all they're only executing their rights. However in the article it states,"If the president wants to exclude all reporters from the White House grounds, he has the authority to do that,..". In my opinion this is completely incorrect and ironic because he is president of the United States which should be one of the main people in this country trying to abide by the amendments of the United States but instead he's not granting all rights to everyone. Not only is he taking away citizen's rights but giving the media false information by being bias upon himself to seem like such a wonderful person when it's the complete opposite. I completely agree with CNN and the CNN reporter for suing Donald Trump, he did not abide by what he's supposed to and is not facing up to the reality of the United States.

I think that what Trump was doing to Jim Acosta was wrong because all he was doing was using his first amendment which he has the right to do. Trump also suspended and took Jim's credentials for a false accusation which was that he harassed one of the white house aides. In the article, Trump seeks to land blow against media in court fight with CNN, it says that, "he had inappropriately touched a White House aide who tried to take a microphone away from him at the press conference." For that false accusation CNN sued the President. He is also trying to abuse his power by not letting others exercise their first amendment. In the article it states that,"If the president wants to exclude all reporters from the White House grounds, he has the authority to do that." This shows that since Acosta was asking him questions the President did not like he kicked him out of the white house and never let Acosta ask the question and refused to answer it. So he only wants people in the White House asking him questions if they are not against him and trying to make him look bad.

My take on trump is that we should have expected this seeing as how he has been trying to have the news be more focused on other things to try and distract and throw us off from the truth of how corrupt and how much of a racist he is.He not only violated Acosta's first Amendment right but also his fifth amendment right which has to do with the lawsuit that allows him a due process. Also in a later conference asking President Trump "Do you want him to reign in Robert Mueller"Which Trump replies with,"That's a stupid question......You ask alot of stupid questions".I don't understand how trump can have the ability of stripping away peoples rights with a foul response and attitude which was also expressed in a interview provided by acosta himself saying that he was"Aggressive and ...very rude.Acosta even replied to the whole situation saying"I'm just doing my job"Another quote from Acosta is very funny yet scary to me showing just how stupid obnoxious our very own trump is,"I never thought this country would not let me cover the President,Simply because I asked a question".That says alot about the president and i'm sure it doesn't even cross people's mind.

President Donald Trump has no remorse in giving his harsh opinions on current issues that happen in our nation but tends to push away all so called "opposers". He does not like to keep people who argue with his decisions close and because of this he abuses his power by revoking a reporter's press pass. The article states, "Trump has long argued that coverage of his administration is unfair, and CNN has been a favorite target," The name of the reporter that had the press pass revoked was Diego Acosta who has been working for CNN for the past 5 years. This just comes to show that Donald Trump will continue to take advantage of his power to better his image by the people.

Former President Donald Trump in my opinion is being unfair and censoring the press by excluding Acosta from the White House. In a recent press conference CNN reporter, Jim Acosta, was asking Donald Trump a question about the immigrants on why did he call them invaders. Trump insisted on not answering the question and instead insulted Acosta and repeatedly told him to be quiet. Donald Trump no longer allowed Acosta entry. The article "Trump seeks to land blow against media in court fight with CNN" states, "If the president wants to exclude all reporters from the White House grounds, he has the authority to do that (...) there's no First Amendment right." (paragraph 5). This demonstrates that Trump is being unfair because he provoked Acostas entry and even first amendment since he is excluding him which is unfair because Acosta has the right of freedom of press. This also shows that Trump is censoring the press by excluding Acosta and also it shows that the president is taking advantage of his power. As you can see, Trump is being unfair and censoring the press.

Trump seeks to land blow against media in court fight with CNN by excluding any reporter he wants from the white house for any reason. For example he revoked Jim Acostas pass of reporting in the white house. In the article "Trump seeks to land blow against media court fight with CNN" it says "CNN argued in its lawsuit filed Tuesday that the Whitehouse infringed on Acostas first amendment rights by revoking his access in response to a dispute over a press conference last week." This shows how just over a dispute Trump got angry and revoked his pass. Jim Acosta has the freedom of press to ask whatever he pleases and rather then Trump ignoring Him he decided to have a argumental confrontation. He took it personal and got really mad and called him a "rude, terrible person" even though jim was respectfully asking him questions. Imagine how he will get if another reporter ask him questions he doesn't like or imagine if a Latino reporter asked, he'll get more upset than how he got with jim.

I feel that Trump is not in the wrong about saying that the man from CNN was being rude and disruptive during the conference. The thing that is wrong in the situation to me is how the president tried to completely remove the card to the White House from the man. In the article it says, " If the president wants to exclude all reporters from the White House grounds, he has the authority to do that." The president shouldn't have the right to do that because they all have a job that they were set there to do and complete. By the president removing every reporter that he feels like is going against him he is going to gain more power on his end only filling the room with people who won't challenge him.

I believe Trump should not have the right to violate any of the amendments and in this case he revoked Acosta's pass to enter a conference at the white house. This means that he violated the 1st amendment which is the right to press, the lawyer states "If the president wants to exclude all reporters from the white house grounds he has the authority to do that". This shows that if this is allowed it gives the president more power and the upcoming presidents too. This is not right because the only reason Trump was kicking him out was because he did not want any bad reports about himself so he can look good and build his popularity towards the next presidential elections.

In my opinion the president of the U.S was wrong for deciding to talk over the reporter and kicking him just because the reporter was not agreeing with the president. But also the reporter was wrong for trying to keep asking questions and asking a question from a different subject. So both were wrong but mostly trump was wrong. Why? Because president Trump is taking away the first amendment of the press. In the article “Trump seeks to land blow against media in court fight with CNN” by Jason Schwartz and Michael Calderone. It is states“If the president wants to exclude all reporters from the White House grounds, he has the authority to do that” the article is saying it's going to affect all the reporters not just Jim Acosta. Another quote it states is “It is imperative that independent journalists have access to the President and his activities, and that journalists are not barred for arbitrary reasons. Our news organizations support the fundamental constitutional right to question this President, or any President” so its saying that Jim wasn't really doing nothing just ask questions and that's what reporters do.

I think that the ¨president of the U.S. " was all types of wrong . The reporter of the CNN news was just asking him questions just like any other reporter in that room . Trump could of just answered his question and move on to the next but he told him that is was enough cause the reporter was being ¨rude¨ but it was even more rude when trump didn´t even let him speak. All of those reporters were following only the 1st amendment and that one reporter couldnt even do that .

President Trump did fall out of line on having the CNN reporter's White House pass taken away, but the CNN reporter also fell out of line on the way he kept at it when Trump said "That's enough". Good thing that the reporter won the court case because if he didn't the president of the US would be able to kick any reporter that is not on his side. Either way both were in the wrong and shouldn't have acted like that.

He was only exercising his rights AKA "the first amendment".Trump insisted on not answering the question and instead insulted Acosta and repeatedly told him to be quiet. And their no right for Donald J Trump Revoked the reporter Jim Acosta’s White House credentials denying him access in side the white house.

I believe that Trump was wrong for taking away the reporter's pass. The reporter was only doing his job and exercising his first amendment right but to Trump the reporter was being a "horrible person" for simply asking questions. I am glad the reporter did not give up and decided to sue him. Trump is very afraid of the truth getting out and his whole attitude against Acosta, the reporter, suddenly changed when he didn't answer his question. Then during the conference a lady tried taking the mic away from Acosta in a rude manner, but Acosta later on gets criticized for "pushing her" when that did not even happen. Trump says CNN is fake news but he puts out fake news himself and uses it for his campaign. Trump is a big hypocrite.

My opinion is that president Trump did not have the right to tell the reporter to get out because the reporter is just doing his job.

I believe that it was necessary to take the reporters pass away because a reporters job is to as questions and get answers or information. The judge made a decision that the reporter can get his press pass because Trump made accusations that weren't real such as " being disrespectful to Sarah Huckabee Sanders" and also that he was rude man being he was be really rude to the secretary). in reality the reporter wanted to get his point across. Im glad that he is getting his press pass.

I think Trump is wrong about making that decision because he thinks that Guatemala and Honduras are invading to Mexico to United States but they are not. Also in the Interview, he was tired of that reporter asking that question over and over again. He was also respected by his supporters after this.

In my opinion, when the lawyer states “if the president wants to exclude all reporters from the white house grounds, he has the suthhauth to do that" I feel It's wrong and disrespectful because there's right to free press and he does respect the citizen's right.

In my opinion, Trump was criticizing against Jim Acosta, according to the article "White House" states "If the president wants to exclude all reporters from the white house grounds, he has the authority to do that." .This quote explains Trump believed he has rights to banned reporters either 1st amendment.
