I think this type of technology should be pursued for two reason.One because technology is the future its all around us and we use it in every day life.Secondly i think that this is a big step up for us and with this it might make a big change but a good one.

I feel like this type of technology should and should not be pursued. I think this because , two reason. one i feel like it should because most of the years we have always talked about how the future is going to look like and how technology is the future and i feel like that`s true because throughout the years we have relied on technology and i really don`t see how we would take technology to the future. second , i feel like we should not go through this any farther because what if something goes wrong and things get out of hand , you can never trust anything that was made to have feelings and interact with people and expect every thing to be okay and fine. i mean people now cant be trust what make you thing we can trust a robot who has citizen ship before me .

i feel like iam in the middle. i feel like it should be pursued because technology is already a big impact on us and a human robot can impacts us more because they are smart and may be helpful. but i feel like they shouldnt be pursued because not everything goes how its planed. most will feel like we cant trust it ..

I really do not think robot should be given citizenship, although they can be helpful but at the same time be destructive and there is a possibility that they can be harmful to human life.

no i don't think this kind of technology should be pursued because its already taking over the world. we depend on the internet and technology way too much.now if we have this robot she will take over everything. we already are having issues with trying to get a job.The reason behide that being computers technology are taking our jobs our (human jobs humans hands)but just image if we had a robot and a robot family.

This type of technology in my eyes would not be ready or yet appropriate in the time being. The robot manifest that she is only “happy” when she is around the “smart and rich” people. This may demonstrate she will only function right around the “rich and smart”. The robot Sophia also plans on having a family and to create a generation of robots like her. She was granted a citizenship and I disapprove and I believe it was a quick move and it was only done because of the money that is made.

I feel like it should and should not be pursued because one thing is it can be way smarter then us so what if they can be against us and have more population of Robots then Humans. Another reason is, they don’t have experience in personal issues so how would they relate to others. It should be pursued because it can help our environment and help cure all difficult diseases. They can help do things that we can not do.

When I heard of this , I was extremely surprised on how far technology has come up to. I don't think we should pursue the fact of more robots and making them human life like . I think this way because if we keep this up , technology will slip out of our hands and might become something we will regret inventing.

I think Sofia is very smart a little too smart is good in a way but i also think it is very dangerous to have many like her. They will start taking jobs basically doing anything a human can do we basically will not be needed. There is also that slight chance that if things go wrong with how they are treated or what they gather from us that their kind might harm us and cause world destruction.

My reaction to Sofia's interview was that it was entertaining,philosophical, and it is thoughtful in general. What I hear from Sofia is even though it was program to say some stuff it had that impression that in 20 years or shorter; we can coexistent with AI's like a uncanny valley. This type of technology should be persuaded due to the fact it can be beneficial to the human race...depending on how it is use. If it can cure cancer, solved impossible equations, and can save lives, why wouldn't you want it?

Each year technology is getting better and better. Now they came up with robots that look like humans and they say that this can impact the world into a better place because "they are smart." But what if something goes bad and effects us all like put everyone in danger. So my agreement is neutral in this respond. Also I don't think robots are smarter than us.

This smart robot that has been created was a nice invention and one of the next steps of technology but, I would not want to see these robots in classrooms seats or teaching my classes. Robots here having citizenship and equal rights as us gives them more opportunities and less for us humans.
