"Success is peace of mind which is  a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming." How does this quote relate to our work at Locke?

The work at Locke is tough. Our efforts challenges us in a myriad of ways. In my opinion if we are both intentional and enthusiastic about our work we will be successful!

The combination of internal motivation and the pursuit of lifelong learning brings peace and confidence to not only ourselves but also our students.

All we can ask of students, or ourselves, is our very best. Our best will look different every day, and it's important to be mindful of that, for others, and especially our selves.

Success is not giving up. Us showing up everyday is important for our students. It won't be easy work, but it is rewarding work. We will have good days and bad days, but it is important we do not give up, only by moving forward will we be able to see success.

This quote makes me think of the idea and pursuit of self-efficacy. If I have a realistic belief in my potential, capacity, and bandwidth, and then I work towards achieving the goals I have set, then I will find success. Even if I fall short of achieving those goals, knowing I worked my hardest results in a feeling of self-efficacy and success.

Success to me means doing whatever makes you happy. To be happy in your life is such a privilege; happiness can mean different things to many of us. To me personally, it means to achieve happiness.

this quote relates to my advisory class where we do our best to not compare to others, but look within ourselves to be our best self.

If I can look myself in the mirror and look myself in the eye each day and know I can honestly say I did my best that is what matters.

I regularly asked by students why I work at Locke. Although we always have much room for growth, I work toward experiences success every day. In a school like ours, we are all blessed tons of opportunities to be successful...if you work toward making a difference in the lives of others you'll never stop feeling successful.
