At this point I'm getting used to using the computer and completing my assignments and attending all my zoom classes. I like how we end at noon so I have some time for me and work. I also like how our teachers are working with us with this virtual classes because it can be stressful at times and they understand that and help us out when we need it. I would eventually want to go back to school but I want to take safety precautions so I won't get sick but still be able to learn.

I like staying home it's more better than being in the classroom. But, I feel we learn more in the classroom. But in the end I always try my best to learn everything on hand.

My thoughts about school at this point is we shouldn't be rushing it and we should not force people to take the shot's.What works for me is waking up earlier and just having the chance of still being in bed for class, mostly paying attention in class without getting distracted by day dreaming in class. What doesn't work for me is that I am always sleepy during class and that I wake up after 1st period. I would like to see happen next is eventually seeing school open and going back safety when we want too and not being force to get shot's.

I agree with you because students, who are in distance learning are feeling less motivated to put in the work and try to get good grades. It is a lot more easier for the student to get distracted from what they are doing because they feel like it's not required to do it. If the schools were to open they would have to follow the rules of the pandemic and stay 6ft from each other, But knowing that the kids will not proceed with the protocol. This procedure should not be forced to make us hurry and get the shot because we still don't know all the side effect of the vaccine. This can cause a huge uproar between State of U.S politically wise.

I also agree that we should go back to school safely without getting a shot. The thing that works for me is that I am able to have plenty of rest. The thing that does not work is that getting many assignments that are due around the same time and each assignment takes time to do .Eventually I would like to have a way of learning that can be less stressful and being able to enjoy learning .

my thoughts about this point is that is very hard to learn and to wake up on time, what works for me is to get out at 12 what doesn't work is the amount of work and homework /assignments in one day or something is due that day as well so it puts pressure on me but other kids as well what i would like to see is more time to do work, start class a little bit late and hopefully back to school.

My thoughts about school so far is that everything is going ok I guess, I just dont like the fact that we get assigned so much work and then we have thing going on in our personal life that's just stressful and sometimes we can't focus in class or always get our homework done on time. I would like to see us go back to school on campus that's what I would like to see next.

I feel like school isn't about learning and improving anymore during distant learning. In my opinion, students only worry about completing work only to get grades higher and satisfy parents instead of doing work and learning from it even if you do it wrong. It's the same thing everyday, waking up at 8 A.M. and being done with school at 3 P.M. I'm looking forward for sports to reopen for Locke so I can finally interact with other people and get out of routine.

According to CNN, the pandemic, our current circumstance has created an expansion in mental health issues inside and outside of classrooms. Students have begun to be lazy, doing just about or less than in classrooms (referring to grades and assignments). There is little to none excitement in classrooms, it is almost never that I can fully enjoy the classroom. However, how bad it may seem, it has its benefits as well, but I can argue, it does more harm than benefit (during the long run).

when we were first told we would be getting 2 weeks off because of covid i was so happy to get a break from going to school everyday on our campus but if someone would have told us it was going to last a year i would never believed them. Distance learning isn't the best because i would rather be spending my last years of high school on campus making memories with friends before i graduate and it sucks i might not even get to spend my senior year at school how it should be but learning from our computer isn't as effective as it would be in person but were all working with what we can and distance learning isn't so bad beside my eyesight getting bad from being on my computer to much

I feel like school at this point doesn't feel like school it just feels like something for us to be doing. One thing that works for me is that it is not that long. One thing that doesn't work for me is when I need help on certain assignments. One thing I would like to see happen is being able to find a way to make school somewhat interesting.

When I first heard that we were in a pandemic, I was shocked that I we were in a pandemic. The only bad thing is that there is no interaction with the students because they feel like they are not required to do it. Going back to school is the best option in order to work with other people because students does not feel required to work on their assignments. This way of learning feels like we are setting us up for failure because we have less interaction with our classmates. I'm used to both ways of learning because I am used to with both ways of learning. This will also gained the interaction with the students a lot more better. Distance learning is not for everyone because some people thrive meeting the teacher/student face to face.

To be honest it hasn't really affected me all, I Am used to it but i would like to spend time with my friends and other family but i thought to myself, we got some good tech, we can facetime, video chat, play video games, and it not all bad ,it just gets boring from time to time but I also thought to myself that, If I have to stay inside from a virus and know it can affect my family then yes of course im staying inside. Knowing that it cant affect me but I can still carry it and pass it on, i rather stay inside.

What I think about distance learning is it sucks, It makes it harder to do any work because I have no motivation to do it when I have all the things that I'd rather be doing in-front of me. Its also harder to get help when you're struggling. Its also very boring and I'd rather just join the class and ignore it while I'm on my phone or doing something else. Distance learning is like taking all the good things about school and getting rid of them and just leaving the boring and hard parts and taking away most of the help you get in real school.

At this point im getting use to getting up and doing my work when needed most of the time. I just don't like how at times I could be dealing with multiple classes all with important things to do and it then becomes hard and difficult to maintain and to stay stress free. I do and still want to go back to school since I prefer to do that instead of doing it on computers.

It is fine I guess. I mean I like it and have multiples advanteges, but I can't say that's perfect. Things like teachers don't knowing how to teach in distance learning because of the change, or some clases that I genuine wonder how they are doing that (like guitar class). Besides that there is a bigger problem, the fact that most of the students (me included) feel harder their clases. I do well in my classes, but others are failing just because is distance learning. I would like this to improve, but I know that it won't happen until we come back to regular classes.

Personally I have a love hate relationship with virtual learning. Pros for it is that we come out earlier and I feel like it gave me a lot of time to realize a lot of things as well as working at my own pace . However I have a little more cons about it. For one being it´s hard to get the motivation to actually do work after zoom classes. It´s made it more difficult to sit done and give it my all like I did at school. Also Like CNN stated it causes a lot of anxiety and depression. I personally experienced both my first semester this year. It made school feel more overwhelming. therefore i had to do something else like get a job to clear my head and I get to socialize but trust me it´s helped but interferes with school. I honestly would love to go back to school but I wouldn´t want to risk it for my love ones as well as the love ones of

At this point in the pandemic, my thought about school is that they (teachers, counselors, other people) supported us a lot, and they gave us the chance to turn in assignments late. One thig that work for me is rest of the time after classes because of this way, we can do our assignments of all our classes and help our parents. One things that doesn't work is turn on the camera because many students don't be prepare to turn on the camera or don't feel comfortable. In the personal, I would like to go to the school as normal we did, but until new semester (in august).

As a student that has to do class on zoom and classwork on a laptop it becomes a bit annoying. Distance has made it easier and or more difficult for students but in my case I prefer distance learning because I tent to feel more comfortable and confident about my work because I feel I understand the topic through online learning.

I feel indifferent when it comes to distance learning because I feel as if i'm learning a sufficent amount of information for what is avaible via this platform. The schedule works for me and i'm okay with cameras being required but I do not appreciate homework or classwork due outside of the normal bell-schedule because I tend to not do it if that's the case. I would like to see campus reopen sometime in the future once vaccines and proper restricitions have been applied, even if it that isn't the case untill next school year.

Wow, it really has been a year since the pandemic started. My initial thoughts were with excitement since I remembered the days I spent with my family when there were no classes; however this was different. My parents live in Mexico and it's been three years I am living with my aunt and uncle. The atmosphere is different and my year was full of confusion, overwhelmingness, and fear. Emotions I always kept in started blooming making it so hard to complete simple tasks. Homework felt impossible and chores were taking time. Maybe I needed this time to confront my feelings but it is hard. I'd love to go back but at the same time I see things so pointless. I just don't want to lose hope.
