In my opinion the state of our country is at an all time low in my years of living. The country is divided at this time and it is hurting our reputation of "all men are equal".

Adding on to my comment, the illustration represents topics that are controversial that Donald Trump has been around of or spoke of. According to Trump he thinks the State of the Union is good and only reflected to the first of year of his presidency and did not really explain goals for the future.

The view of the State of the Union is how Donald Trump is sugar coating a lot of things. President Trump had said a lot of disgusting/hatred comments and now all of a sudden he cares about the Country struggles. I feel as if Trump is trying to pull a " Gilded Age " act on the United States because he tries and make things look peaches and cream when in reality it's really horrible.

The state of the union is a stand still as it shows how the people are divided by Trumps decisions, as only one side of the entire room were applauding Trump's decisions, for most of them go against what the Democrats of the room had hoped to have heard from him, as most of the words coming from his mouth is empty promises, which all the cartoon depicts. And in my opinion, the cartoon is much closer to the truth of the whole address.

According to this illustration, the State of Union is based off of derogatory comments made by the president. The image also displays how the vice president and the speaker supports and agrees to the statements that President Donald Trump is making. In the image, Donald Trump is sitting in a filthy toilet while his derogatory comments are surrounding him. This symbolizes how unpleasant and filthy the presidents qualities and comments are. On the other hand, Donald Trump believes that him and his supporters are taking the appropriate steps into making this country better. In my opinion the cartoon illustrator's view is accurate, because what Donald Trump said in his speech was awful.

In my opinion the State of The Union is garbage right now. He is doing so many things that are harming the hardworking immigrants that live here. I feel that he is severely dividing this country. According to Trump himself he believes that the State of The Union is wonderful. Everything good is happening right now. He doesn’t believe that he is doing harm to this country. I believe the view of the cartoon is more on the right path.

This political cartoon represents the illustrators thoughts on president Trump's flaws and what he's done since he's been in presidency. All the ferocious and nasty things he's said stuck with him and they fuel the hate that the illustrator and many others have for him.

According to the cartoon the artist point of view on the state of the union is not as great as Donald trump said it is. He said that unemployment rates are the lowest ever and the new tax laws he sighed last December. But what he said isn't as great as it sounded. The country isn't doing as great as he said and it's more divided then ever.

The state of the union is divided on what they believe by the democrats and the republicans. You could see this when one side claps and stands while the other doesn't. What the president is trying to do is unify both sides and you could see this when he wheres his blue tie and what he says. I think the unions view is closer to what Trump is saying/doing.

The view of the State of the Union is showing that the vice president and the House Speaker are agreeing with the president. It is also showing that Trump is ignoring the problems that the world is facing. The view on the president is to demonstrate how president Trump does not overcome or get through the problems but ignores it. I agree with the fact that Trump is ignoring the problems that the country is going through. For instance, Trump did not mention the shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada during his speech.

The Union of the State according to this cartoon is that everything that comes of that ans mouth is a lie. None of us can believe a word he says, no matter how "genuine" he sounds. In my opinion, his entire speech had nothing to do with benefiting the people who are actually struggling on a day to day basis. His speech for was the Republicans, the white people with money. Nothing about his speech was genuinely about helping the people who actually need the help.

According to the cartoon, the view of the State of the Union is most definitely negative. The cartoon exposes and shows the complete opposite of what Trump himself said in his State of Union Address speech. I believe that the cartoon is closer to the truth, as he is being illustrated as the hypocrite that he really is.

In my opinion the state of the union is not talking about all the issues that have been going around lately. Donald Trump fails to mention the events that have been left unspoken. For example the shooting that occurred during a concert, it was not mentioned in his speech given. I simply think the ideas Donald Trump has to make America great again will cause more problems.

The political cartoon above implies many things correlating to corrupt; however, the biggest implication is the background that shows the kind of president Trump is in reality. From the cartoon we can infer Trumps dishonesty and disloyalty as the president we are supposed to call our own. In my opinion, the political cartoon shows that reality in which we live in. It shows with clarity that Trump's intention is to continue being a seemingly optimistic president when truth is he pay little to no attention to what is really important.

According to the cartoon, the State of the Union is just Trump addressing what he wants, what he does not want, and what he has done for this country in the past year as president. To the president, it was more of a recap of what we went through, how we got through it, and what we still have to face along the way, including terrorism, immigration and natural disasters. I agree with the cartoon because the cartoon puts everything out there without the silver lining that Trump often does. I also agree with it because the cartoon reveals his own scandals that he an many others have failed to mention.

The view of the cartoonist is that the State of Union is all but Donald Trump saying dim-witted things. The president is seen as someone that is just in a position who cannot regulate himself to handle it. I personally believe he is expressing the right view because he has talked about issues and has not adressed them properly.

Donald trump talks about raising wages at the state of the union. Trump has 4 pillars of immigration. He said he will give 1.8 million immigrants citizenship but only if a wall is built, visa ends, and chain migration ends.

According to the cartoon the view of the state towards Donald Trump is positive, even though both men on the sides of trump may not agree on what he is saying. They are applauding him and basically support him on the things they find an appeal to like "bild that wall" or "climate change is a hoax (fake)". I feel the view of both men are closer to the truth rather than what is under trump because they basically are agreeing on all things he believe which appeal to them. They feel what he says is the truth and is not idiotic of him to place out in the world, but hey I guess people in power get to make fatuous decisions and not get called out on them but instead praised.
