i think this will impact the second amendment by potentially making a change to it where there is a stricter policy on it. the gov. should make it harder for people to buy weapons because to many mass shootings have occured in the history of the U.S and is seems like they've done nothing to help avoid them. By changing the rules and regulations associated with the 2nd amendment there may be a decrease in these events happening because this will make it harder for people to buy weapons

This event will impact the 2nd amendment by restricting us to keep guns and have stricter gun laws. The mass shooting has occurred a lot in recent years because of the right to bear arms; meaning we can have guns. What I feel should happen next is; restricting guns in general. Guns are the leading cause of death and people do not know how to control themselves when they have one (it seems). Therefore, I think we should either get rid of guns or have much more stricter gun regulations.

A tragic event has occurred and it is all done under the 2nd amendment. The 2nd amendment allows individuals to have weapons. This event lead to the death of 58 people and counting and to the hospitalization of 500 plus people. I believe that with this mass shootings and all the other mass shooting the 2nd amendment will be impacted. I believe that the purchasing of guns will be stricter and the laws on hope to carry them will change as well. I know that in Nevada you can conceal a weapon and with this tragic event I believe that this will soon change. I feel that there should be stricter laws on gun control. Limit the places that you can carry concealed weapons.

I believe the second amendment would be impacted negatively, due to America's most massive shooting that took place October , 2017, by a men named, Stephen Paddrock. The second amendment states,"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." The amendment basically frames the idea that it is alright the the United States to have bear arms ( guns). The man that did the massive shooting had 10 semi-automatic guns that was allowed into the hotel, because of the second amendment. Therefore, i believe the second amendment should be abolished or better structured, because people like this cannot be able to have deadly weapons like that and put them into play for the most stupidest reasons.

This past weekend there has been a shooting in Las Vegas at a concert. There are about 50 people dead and more than hundreds were wounded. This is the deadliest mass shooting in the United States. What has happened in Vegas is very unfortunate, but now it brings up the topic of the 2nd amendment which is the right to bear arms. Many people wanted to pass the law and now that the law has passed this has happened. Not saying that what the shooter did was right because it clearly is not, but this man had the right to carry his guns freely. One because he was in a state where the gun law has been passed. Two because he had the right to. People should really rethink their decision on if they want to keep that gun law because many people have lost their loved ones over this tragedy and it is not right that innocent people had to lose their lives because somebody wanted to be stupid.

Based on this mass killing in Las Vegas, I feel that the second amendment will be revoked. The second amendment is the right to bear arms, which made Stephen Paddock not in the wrong for buying weapons. In the article, "58 killed, 515 hurt in Las Vegas Strip massacre, by Holly Yan, Susannah Cullinane and Philip Victor, CNN, it states: "At least 58 people were killed Sunday night when the shooter fired hundreds of bullets into the crowd, police said. Another 515 people were hurt in the gunfire." This quote proves what the right of bearing arms can lead to. Therefore, I believe that this right will no longer be a right, because innocent people have died and been injured.

I think this event will make the government want to change or get rid of the 2nd. The CNN News article states, "...some Democrats issued forceful calls for gun control legislation". This makes me think that the government believes that the 2nd amendment should no longer be an amendment or that they should have more restrictions on guns. I believe that Trump needs to do something else than just call it "an act of pure evil".

The mass shooting that occurred in Las Vegas on October 1st was pronounced the deadliest of the United States history. The suspect was identified as a 64 year old Stephen Paddock; killing more than 50 people and wounded more than 500 ( CNN.news). This incident may negatively affect the 2nd Amendment which gives citizens the right to bear arms. The 2nd amendment may not be a legal law for a period of time due to this tragic. Las Vegas is located in the state of Nevada. A state that is legal to purchase and walk around freely with bear arms. Because of this mass shooting and many deaths, Nevada might wipe out that law. The next step should be no one should be able to buy or carry a fire arm without a legal gun permit.

It will make a big impact on the second amendment if they have a stricter policy. It should be difficult to get weapons because of the massive shooting that happened. You won't be able to tell if the people who buy weapons are going to do a shooting or just going to use it for self defense. You also won't be able to tell if the person is trustworthy of having a weapon or weapons on them.

I think the way this event will impact the 2nd amendment is by keeping strict rules about owning a gun and or have the same type of rules they have in California about owning a gun.. The next thing that should happen next is to save the 500 people that were injured during the shooting,"At least 58 people have been killed and more than 500 injured in the shooting"(CNN).

This impacts the second amendment because because ti shows that not everyone should have the right to be armed. This is because of the indecent that happened on October 1st of 2017 were there was 58 dead and over 500 hospitalized.

When a mass shooting occurs everyone is sharing their condolences to the family or families. Everyone hopes for the shooter get the worse. But everyone or those who are ignoring the fact how the shooter was able to obtain those guns. How did they get them, why does our government allow this type of thing to keep going on. What i hope to see is the 2nd amendment is taken away or at least changed. To have something be changed.

The recent mass shooting in Las Vegas should be used to support the fact that not everybody should have the right to bear arms. In all honesty nobody should have gun, unless they're officials or their jobs require it. A gun does no good for anybody because even if you have one, you can't use it. You cant have a loaded gun at home or at the office, you cant load it let alone shoot it;its against the law. So why have something you can't use. The second amendment is the reason why so many shooting by ordinary people happen all the time.

If we take this massacre's occurring to consideration, this event was not suspected. This event included a weapon that in the United States is not illegal due to the second amendment which states the following,"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed". This right protects the citizen's right to carry arms and also reassures the fact that this law/right will not be broken. Because of this current event, I think many will support the idea of congress reconsidering to have this in the Bill of Rights. In my opinion i think the following event should be the ban of this right. The ability to carry arms in my opinion is very risky because it is a risk of a deadly weapon falling into the wrong hands as it happened in this current event as well as in previous times.

I think this would not impact the 2nd amendment because he is white male, and Trump protected his actions by not calling him a terrorist, so Trump might something like "we should protect ourselves so that we aren't vulnerable to these type of attacks". I feel that Trump should have refferred to this as a terrorist attack and not an act of evil.

The deadliest mass shooting in the U.S. was at a concert in Las Vegas with over 50 injured and 500 hospitalized. According to the Police the shooter Stephen Paddock had brought in 10 rifles into his hotel room in which he shot the bullets from the 32nd floor. This incident with no doubt will bring a lot if controversy on the 2nd Amendment which is the right to bear arms or own a gun. Even though many will want a new rule on whether or not guns should still be allowed, overall I believe there will be change in the allowance of owning guns. People in the U.S. will most likely still have the right to bear arms.

In the recent news, a mass shooting had happened in Las Vegas that had killed over 50 people and had injured more than hundreds. After, hearing about this, many Nevada politicians had shared there thoughts through twitter which I believe will affect the 2nd amendment,"Senseless, horrifying act of violence in Las Vegas tonight." I believe with these kinds of statements to come out, there might be a sudden change in the 2nd amendment, that it might be limited. I also believe that what should happen next is for more support for the survivors.

I believe that people in Nevada will still have the right to bear arms, but they'll be strict about often because of the mass shooting by Stephen Paddock in Las Vegas. I don't really think anything can be done with Paddock at this point because was found dead in his hotel room, so officials obviously question him or punish him like he deserves.

The deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history will affect the 2nd amendment (the right to bare arms) because the congress may change the right and make is more strict so that evil actions like this could be prevented. There were 58 people killed and over 500 hospitalized, Stephen Paddock was the evil shooter. He shot from the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay hotel down to a country music festival with a crowd of 30,000 people. Police found 10 guns in his hotel room and they believe he committed suicide as police entered the hotel. I believe hotels should ban guns and have metal detectors for luggage.

Last night in Las Vegas, as the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival took place, 64 year old Stephen Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, using 10 rifles to do the job. This act, called an "act of pure evil" by Trump, resulted in 58 people losing their lives and over 500 suffering injuries. The shooter was found dead by the SWAT team in his 32nd floor hotel room. I believe that this will have a heavy impact on the 2nd amendment because I believe that Las Vegas will start to use x-ray scanners or metal detectors at the gates to their casinos, resorts, hotels, and other popular places. Also, it will put stronger restrictions on the gun laws in Nevada to prevent future acts of this magnitude.

In a tweet by Vice President Pence stating '' To victims, families & loved ones affected by this senseless violence in Las Vegas, Karen & I are praying for you & offering our love..."If the shooter's actions were ''senseless'' then why did he do it. Was he intoxicated. What was the purpose for his actions? Now hotels need to start searching through personal baggage for any weapons because of this shooting.

This event that occurred in Las Vegas, Nevada will significantly impact the 2nd Amendment. Giving the people the right to keep and bear arms is a major issue because now it puts other people at risk to feel safe. In my perspective I believe that next time there is an event that consist of many people, there should definitely be more securities watching monitoring from different locations. As mentioned in CNN politics a police man says, "At least 58 people have been killed and more than 500 injured in the shooting..." The amount of people in this incident suffered a terrible deadliest mass shooting and has made a mark in history.

In America, everyone who is at liberty has the right to bear arms. Unfortunately, the effect of the Amendment ll which is "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." caused over 50 deaths and over 500 injuries. I personally think serious actions should be taken against this attack. These types of tragic events should not be happening.

On October 1, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada, a white man was standing on a high floor in the Mandalay Bay Casino shooting many innocent people with a semi-automatic machine gun. There were approximately 25,000 people who attended the event with a total of 58 perished and 515 wounded who are currently receiving medical attention. Due to this incident, many people are questioning the 2nd amendment, the right to bear arms. The 2nd amendment allows people to have the right to own a weapon. Having a weapon allows people to feel safe when there is an intruder invading their home or when they are being physically attacked; however, there are many people like Stephen Paddock, the mass shooter, who takes advantage of their "privilege" and feel like they are able to do whatever they want. Now with the advanced technology that we have, the law enforcement should do further research on people who ask to own a weapon and check their record or make them take a test to see who they personally are.

Late Sunday night there was a mass shooting in Las Vegas. A 64 year old man, Stephen Paddock used high caliber guns to rain hell on innocent people. The 2nd amendment states that any U.S. citizen has right to bear arms. With this current situation I believe that the 2nd amendment should be looked upon more closely. I believe they should have a tighter control on guns In Cnn they state, "while some Democrats issued forceful calls for gun control legislation." Gun control should be increased to prevent these acts of terrorism.

Many people will be protesting about the 2nd amendment. I think it will be impacted significantly due to the fact an american terrorist with over 10 weapon killed over 50 people and hospitalize over hundred. I predict that many people will protest about this and will cause major impacts.

The cartoon analysis matters because everyone has the natural right to live but is it really a natural right if people go around killing others ..? After the Las Vegas shooting I believe that the 2nd Amendment should be removed as well as all weapons, for human safety since people don't use weapons for good things. The cartoon analysis , Uncle Sam is taking a knee because he is upset about what happened in Las Vegas. That is no good way of representing the home of the free and the brave. This cartoon analysis shows that our society is destroying it's self little by little .
