The scarcity of a drought in the country has a huge impact on many people like farmers and major city's as well. A drought in the country would mean farmers would not have enough water to produce many crops therefore scarcity not only on water but also on fruits and such causing prices to go up. Also, water droughts in the state will impact major city's like Los Angeles because water that we have here that we use is from the North. Therefore in the future more problems like for example water can be timed on how long you use it, and can also only be used only on certain days.

i also agree that maybe in the future water for example can be timed on how long you use it. i also believe that it can be limited to how long you keep it on and how often you can use it. this country has alot of impacts on many people.

Supporters of Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson raised more than $3,000 to erect a “Pants Up, Don’t Loot” billboard in my opinion the connection is the people that say don't loot look at this cartoon and believe those people just benefit from the government and look cheap that justify's their connection. I think in 2015 this cartoon will play out if welfare gets tooken away or if obama confirms free tuition for 2 years because i think white people will not like it because most familes pay for their child's tuition they look at colored people in a different way .

In my opinion this event will be talked about for the rest of 2015 and maybe even long after. I'm sure this situation has influenced other companies to make films like this one involving countries that the US doesn't get along with, so I think we could be expecting more films similar to "The Interview" soon. For example in the link of the image it states "The president applauds Sony's decision to authorize screenings of the film. As the president made clear, we're a country that believes in free speech and the right of artistic expression.". Therefor meaning that anyone could make any type of film that they want because of free speech.

the "i cant breath" image is going around all over the world. it impacted a lot of African Americans in the country. you see basketball players & random people wearing these shirts. i predict 2015 will have riots according to this. in the article , some of the riots in Ferguson were caused because " the people were provoked by a grand jury’s decision not to indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of teen Michael Brown in Ferguson and a grand jury’s decision in Staten Island not to indict New York police in the choke hold death of Eric Garner." this made them angry. African Americans want justice for there race. i predict 2015 will have a lot of African Americans fighting for there justice.

The image of "I cant breath" impacts many people because it represents police brutality.Police brutality is all over the world and people will keep protesting until it stops.I believe that there will still be police brutality because of different types of issues. For example an issue might be that some police officers are racist, therefore, they believe that if a color person looks suspicious although the person might be unarmed. This leads to police men killing people just by there physical appearance.

The California flag represents the drought we are currently in. We have ran out of surface water and are currently pumping out large amounts of groundwater. According to the article, "trillions of gallons of water will be needed before we can recover from the drought" (Brad Plumer). This means that it can take years to recover all the water. In December there was not much rain. Well at least not even close enough to say we have made it out of the drought. I predict that in 2015 the drought will get worst. Summer is around the corner and everyone starts using significantly more water. Basically the water we got this December will be gone by the end of summer. Since we do not have laws that regulate how much water can be used, people will continue to use as much as they want. According to the article, "it can take about 6 years to have that law" (Brad Plumer). I think that by 6 years it will be too late, since this law is needed now in order to fix the drought and prevent further droughts.

In the image "I can't breathe", it clearly shows that it represents justice they want for police brutality. This events impact will be shown in 2015 because the jury duty did not indict the officers that committed the murder, which causes a negative impact such as a lot more riots. This event impacts mostly African Americans and police officers because police officers are going to have to stop the riots.

well this picture represents the scarcity of the drought in California.which would make people lose business and increase the cost of water, fruits veggies and other stuff. which will also make wild animals die of hydration.so if we don't use our water wisely we will soon run out.

“Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” were being chanted by supporters of unarmed black teen Mike Brown, whom the police officer, Wilson shot and killed Aug. 9.This Year 2015 ,I think that they will go some were with this “Pants Up, Don’t Loot” program. I also second guess myself because knowing that it been so long after the situation with Mike Brown, there has not been any changes due to all of his supporters & etc.

The image of the bear dying is relevant to the drought because animals, plant, and our food supply are threatened by the drought. We will not get enough rain this year to end the drought, because like the article said it would take almost a miracle for it to end anytime soon, so we need to find a way to limit our usage of water. 2015 will be another tough year for farmers and consumer alike, because of the drought.

The "i can't breath" picture and the link are both protesting against police brutality. Both are sending a message that police should not harm or kill anyone but to serve and protect. This will impact 2015 by having officers train and learn to deal with situations better. Officers will also have a audio and video devices that can be used as evidence.

The shooting of Tamir Rice impacted the country in a negative as it made a lot of people question who are suppose to be their protectors. Tamir Rice was a 12 year-old boy who was shot and left to bleed to death by a police officer. This will effect us in 2015 and years to come because people right now are questioning the motives for shooting at Tamir Rice. With this said I believe that training for police officers might become more strict to ensure that an event like this doesn't happen again. Also if the police officer isn't charged for murder then people will most likely get even more upset due to the fact that two police officers have killed two blacks already and now with the Tamir Rice event it might become into three.

I believe the image that has "I cant breathe" are the word coming out of Eric Garners mouth when he was put in a chokehold by a police officer and dies from it. This was an incident that didn't have to go so far and could of been solve another way. This image represents the madness of protestants taking up for a guy who was surrendering for his life and police brutality. I predict 2015 will only get worse if the police don't do their jobs correctly.

the Drought in California is much worst then people think it is,but people don't really care are know of whats going on with California's water. I believe that if people knew how bad this is gonna end up, they would do all they can to save water or to conserve as much water as they can. if we don't do anything to change the way we use our water we will soon look like the picture above with everything dying and well more then that well happen to us. If California runs out of water it would be the end of the world for us, I mean with so little water it will be hard for farms to grow our food and feed the animals we eat, but that's nothing if water runs out people will have to pay more for what they buy at the store or in the supermarket. this Drought will break California for ever.

The image "I cant breath" impacts the country because the society is protesting in what the officer did. Protests can sometimes go wrong and cause things that shouldn't happened like violence. for 2015 I believe they might still protest for those who really truly care about what happened but they will be other events where there still going to be doing the same thing but it will cause to violence. I think there going to stop until the government does something about it.

The image i chose to explain is the scarcity of resources like water. Since there is a drought, water should be limited excessively since its a basic human necessity. It should be used wisely and on things that really help, not useless things.i guess an order should be executed to restrict and use water in a helpful way.

The image I chose was the movie poster for The Interview. It was a hot topic when it was about to come out. It seemed to be more of a publicity stunt than anything. If a war was going to start then it would of started already. It was a pointless thing to get all worked up about. The movie was still released. Like the article said it was just hype to try and get more people to watch. I feel that in 2015 this movie will be pretty much forgotten.

Everyone will give up the protesting on the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown. These cases are going to be the same as the killing of Oscar Grant. This happened in January 1, 2009 Oakland, California.

The image of the the young boy in a park playing with a toy gun shows that he is minding his own business;showing no harm to any one in his surrounding. But yet, someone in the neighborhood informed the police about the young boy playing with an aperant toy gun. Yet when the police came and seen the young kid, the officers had no hesitations in shooting the African American child with out even knowing it was a toy gun. This shows that the officers dont care about minority groups. Yet want to look as if they are the heroes of the city.

The image about the California state flag will affect 2015 because California is currently in a drought and as time progresses it will most likely only get worse, the drought that has been affecting California has been going on for some time and hasn't changed. People decide not to conserve water to fix the problems they cause, instead they let matters get worse so i believe the drought will be a bigger issue than before and will only get bigger throughout 2015.

The image of the young boy playing with a toy gun and the two police officers drove up and shot the boy.It seemed to me the officer in the passenger seat did not hesitate to pull the trigger. At first glace you could easily tell its a young boy but the officer probably didn't care they got a report of someone outside pointing a gun around let I remind you they say they did not get the message that it could possibly be a toy gun.

The image with the sign "I Can't Breathe" represents the negative impact that police have on America's citizens. People went out of their way to bring awareness to one of the most current situations that involved police brutality. Many people have become enraged which has led them to protest to try to protect their rights as humans , and to also get justice served for those who have struggled and died from police abusing their power. I feel that people will keep protesting and will do anything possible until they can really say that they feel safe in the country that they live in.

I believe that the image that says " i can't breathe " are people protesting for the fact that a white police man grabbed Eric Garner in a choke hold and choked him to death. Eric Garner clearly said for the police men to stay back. Garner was a person who was dealing with asthma. So while the policeman choked him , Garner said the words " I can't breathe."

This image saying ''I can't breathe'' repeatedly is what Eric Garner was saying to the police officers choking him down to the ground. These last words that Eric said is the line used by protesters in America for his killing . The protestants were very angry with this incident because it couldve been solved a whole different way . I think that if many police officers just do their job right and not think they have more power than any of us everything will be different and their won't be so much violence and killings .

I think the image "i can't breathe" impacts many people in different ways because Eric Garner was killed in choke hold after he told the police officer he could not breathe. These events of people being killer by police is getting out of control. Many people are going to continue to protest till police brutality stops. If a regular person kills another person in choke hold they will go to prison for murder but when a police does it okay even if the citizen is unarmed they too should be charge of murder not only because their police officers they shouldn't get charged.

I chose image "I can't breathe" because this is an image that shows people expressing their emotions on the murder of Eric Garner. Not only are they showing Eric but they are also showing they want justice for police brutality. I believe it was very wrong of what the police man did. Eric was only trying to stop a fight and this is what he gets. The police man may be sorry or may be feeling bad, but that doesn't change anything or anyone's mind up to this point.

"I can't breathe." Police brutality is something that is rampant around the nation and is slowly tearing us apart. A way we can solve this starts with the police training. I know for a fact that most police officers are trained to take people down. In violent ways. Like how they say to aim for the center of mass or certain tactics they are taught that can physically injure a person. Some of these techniques shouldn't be used or are not necessary all the time. I think that if police are trained to take people down without necessarily injuring a person can really impact this country.
