Drones are a big worry to our citizens right now . The Federal Aviation Administration has estimated there will be at least 20,000 drones in the sky by 2017 according to Sonia Sotomayor. I beleive that this will impact our privacy . This can start riots, violence will rise, and people will die. Our society is not the type of society can enjoy the use of a drone instead it will be used to fight .

Elena,

Thank you for responding. Do you think citizens are more worried or excited about drones? What amendment(s) is impacted here? Why do you believe it will lead to fighting? Provide specific examples in your answers.

The type of technology we currently enjoy in our everyday life is cell phone and computers . the information we been going over in class is about how anyone can get a drone and fly it above your house and hear everything you or saying.

Shameka,

Is using a drone a bad thing? Won't this help with crime? What amendments are at play here? Predict what may happen in the future with this issue.

The impact of technology on our civil liberties would be impacted by for example drones. They have the ability to fly and record everything from the top that's how advanced things are. The government owns these and they also have the ability of seeing most of things were doing. Some rights that we now enjoy that may be impacted by this are freedom and privacy. We would not be feeling free as we see things watching us , privacy does not exist because on everything we do they have specific information of that.

the big impact we will be facing once everyone starts having these drones around more is going to be out of control.one main reason should be that they will invade our private lives.people are and will be angry about this big new thing about " the federal aviation administration has estimated there will be at least 20,000 drones in the sky by 2017". an impact and a big advantage people will take from these drones is a new way to harm other people . which may cause many damage and violence.

We have all types of technology now in days because so many of them have been created recently. Every single item has affected us in some ways that are good and bad. For example the famous"drome".This specific object can carry items in it(any type of item) and can fly in the air and deliver you're cargo to the destination you want it to go to.In addition it has a built in camera that actually spys on you and follows you anywhere you go to. Although the reason I say it affects us in a good way is because it can help us carry our things and do things we can't do for example fly over places that we can't go to. But at the same time, it affects in a bad way because many people are going to use it to do wrong things.

I think the drones are not even needed , drones would just cause riots and other type of dangerous stuff. People can even take advantage of it too. There won't be no type of privacy anymore.

The impact of technology towards our civil liberties might be really bad. I enjoy going on twitter and posting my life and business on there but, now that i know the police could be watching with in 6 months i think it would be wiser to not post certain things from my life but, i wouldnt care anyways. Besides that i now feel like my whole phone and various services that are provided by smartphones are bugged by the feds. Drones are going to be on a whole new level of invading your private life according to Sonia Sotomayor. They might be listening to conversations through the walls of our homes and watching you from miles away.

today's technology is out of line. you see everyone on their phones at all times. now that these new technologies are coming out, you'll see more and more people on their phones. little 5 year old's be having tablets and phones of their own and they already know how to use them . having technologies are useful at times but people need to know the limit. using droids can be good and bad. based on u.s supreme court justice sonia sotomayor, they're frightening.

Technology in my mind is bad for children. Kids that grow up using technology would be highly distracted. The cause is cell phones, computers, and television. With all the alternative choices children wouldn't want to sit in a class room for hours and learn from a text book. The more technology progresses, the dumber the future generation of kids will be. Don't get me wrong its not just the kids, adolescence are just as easily distracted. In conclusion I think technology is bad for minors when it is distracting teens from doing their work in class and out.
