The cartoon shows how economy is capitalism. There are people who are rich and poor. The cartoon shows how the wealthy is segregated from the poor, which is unfair that the wealthy people don't help the poor although they have so much many.
This image refers back to the article of world wealth because it shows that the economy is capitalist. It shows that the very little of the world population is wealthy. The one percent of the population has 48 percent of the the worlds total wealth. It also demonstrates how the united states is not a communist country. The poor is separated from the wealth people which is unfair to the poor or middle class.
This cartoon and article are significant because they speak on the gap between the wealthy and the poor. In the cartoon the man is saying, "don't look down, don't look down," because the gap is so large that it's frightening to people. It's unbelievable how wealthy some people are in comparison to how poor others are. It shows the first small steps as the wealthy and the last large steps as the poor. It shows how being poor is more common than being wealthy.
I believe the significant of this image is showing us how now wealthy people are getting richer and richer than they ever had in history. Infact, showing us that there should be a limit but still wealthy people still pass the limit. Therefore, making them richer than they ever were in history.
As you can see in this image there are stair ways going up with a big open invisible gap in the center , its divided in three side which are wealthy, middle class and gap. I believe that this show the way that they divide the people according to their earning or money they own. As we can see in the image the wealthy have it easy wile the middle class goes through the most difficult as they're all separated .
i believe this image is explaining the poor and the rich. the big gap the guy is walking on is the sign of him walking in thin air. rich people are getting richer and richer. his face looks like hes scared to look down.
The article and the cartoon correspond to each other and the significance is that there is a gap between the classes and only like 1% is the good class and you have to choose but you remain in constant t. the poor seperates from rich and your stuck in the middle. its unfair but its capitalism for you
I think that the meaning of this picture is to explain to us how the rich and the poor are quite different from one another because this picture shows how the man is walking basically on nothing yet is still wanting to get wealthier yet it will be hard for him to do so.
This political cartoon shows the separation between the poor and the wealthy. The wealthy stairs are the start to more wealth. There is also a big gap between both. The man walking in air between the wealthy and the poor represents how the rich keep getting richer. He is saying "don't look down" as in keep getting rich and not fall in the gap.
This cartoon shows 3 different topics that are political here in the united states such as republican , democratic ,and are identified as middle class and high class . I think this cartoon is showing this individual trying to escape from the middle class he is not trying to look down to feel less .
the article is basically showing the difference between the wealthy and the poor. since there is such a huge gap between the wealthy and the poor its either u become wealthy or fall to the poor in the middle class. its is keeping the middle class working to try and stay out of poverty and to try and make it.
i think this image means that people don't want to feel less or more depending on there class(middle or high)because of how bad the economy is since they're isn't that much money no more:(
In my opinion the significance of the cartoon is that the wealthy people keep to themselves and make it hard for other people to try to get to the top as well. Its not fair that the people with a large amount of money is so small but they have as much money as billions of middle class citizens wages combined.
I believe this political cartoon is representing the gap between the wealthy and the poor. The image is basically showing the amount of poeple who are wealthy , the gap , & the middle class by involving the stair case .
The stair case also represents that the wealthy people have an easy way up . The middle class has no advantages because they struggle in having to work to make there way up & the gap are the most important who have more advantages than the rest.
This political cartoon shows the gap between the wealthy and the poor classes. Since it is a big difference between the two classes, their is a middle class that people who live average lives with not many financial problems belong to. While those in lower classes have more financial problems. Compared to people living in high classes, the poor is at the bottom.
i believe that there have three types of classes, they have poor wealth and rich. It looks like they have a gap in the middle because the trying to make it seem like it will be hard to make it to rich so they put that gap there so people can under stand if the gonna want to get to rich there gonna have too jump a big step over to rich.
This cartoon is show how there is a gap between the rich and poor. The wealthy or on top and the poor on the bottom. It also show how wealthy people trick the poor that if they work hard enough someday they would be wealthy as them.
The picture shows a man climbing up some stairs but there is a big gap. At the beginning of the steps it say wealth and at the end of the stairs it say gap. I think this means that there is a gap between how much regular people and how much rich people make. Moreover, the man seems really scared and keeps saying "Dont look down". He also is carrying a brief case that say middle class which indicates how the author feels about the diminishing middle class. The author is highlighting the fact that it is going to be very hard to move up the economic ladder. The article also highlights the fact that not only is the middle class getting smaller but the rich are actually getting richer. I dont think this is correct and we need change.
